The story of Flashnode began from the same situation as many other growth companies: the desire to solve a real problem. The company’s founders Lennu Keinänen, Jani Karhunen and Tomi Räsänen consistently faced the same challenge in their previous company, as the connections between different systems were slow, expensive and complicated to implement. Each integration project was done separately from the platform upwards, and the work done earlier could not be utilized effectively.
This need gave rise to Flashnode in 2014. The company initially started from the integration side of online stores, but soon it was noticed that there was a much greater opportunity in integrations. The decision to move into a broader integration business was based on the fact that SMEs across the country need smooth and agile solutions to connect their systems.
