Crazy Town Lahti, which opened in the summer of 2023 in the heart of the city at Kulmala House, is set to reach its full capacity by the end of 2024. The community has grown rapidly, and the membership already includes nearly a hundred active professionals from various fields. However, interest has proven to be so great that Crazy Town wants to enable even more experts and businesses to join the growing community.
“We are surprised but very pleased with this situation – especially in such a challenging market environment. Companies from all over have found a suitable networking and workspace community with us,” says Crazy Town Lahti’s community manager Sini Mäkelä.
The Crazy Town Lahti unit has been implemented in collaboration with A. Ahlström Real Estate Ltd, and so far, the successful concept has clearly met the needs of the city’s entrepreneurs. “We have received very positive feedback and seen concrete benefits from how the community helps its members s쳮d and create new contacts. We have been praised especially for the quality of the spaces, the location, and the sense of community,” Mäkelä continues.
“We have been very satisfied with the collaboration with Crazy Town. The current space of over a thousand square meters is reaching full occupancy, which demonstrates the functionality and need for the concept in Lahti. Crazy Town has brought our second floor to life, and there is a great buzz as professionals from different fields meet. With the expansion, we will be able to offer spaces for new operators,” says Juha Mäkelä, Asset Manager of A. Ahlström Real Estate Ltd.
We have received very positive feedback and seen concrete benefits from how the community helps its members s쳮d and create new contacts. We have been praised especially for the quality of the spaces, the location, and the sense of community.
To meet the growing demand, Crazy Town will initially expand its operations to the third floor of Kulmala House starting in early 2025. The new expansion will add more office rooms of various sizes and a spacious training room, which can also be rented by external operators. This creates even more space for innovative activities and allows for a larger number of participants at events. Additional expansions are also planned, to be activated according to demand.
Crazy Town’s goal is to build a dynamic and active network in Lahti that adds value to both its members and the entire city’s economy. With the expansion, more and more businesses will have the opportunity to join the community and benefit from its resources and contacts.
