The CoWorking People series showcases Crazy Town’s member companies. This time we present Crazy Town Jyväskylä‘s member company Dellia. Dellia is part of Crazy Town’s extensive network of over 400 member companies across Finland.
The speed of a startup and the shoulders of a public company
Dellia has just reached toddler age, but in three years it has already conquered the market with its exceptionally popular dried mangoes. The company’s story serves as a great example of a rapidly growing business. It is a Norwegian-origin startup whose parent company is already listed on the stock exchange. Dellia’s agile startup spirit, backed by a strong financial foundation, has made its global expansion smoother.
Currently, the company operates not only in Finland but also widely across Europe, including Germany, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Dellia has further strengthened its position, as the entire chain runs through their own paths. They have managed to set up their own production in Cambodia. This ensures uncompromising quality control and ethics throughout the supply chain – from field to bag and from there to the consumer’s hand.
An office that scales with growth and change
Dellia is one of the newest arrivals at Crazy Town Jyväskylä. They established their office in Crazy Town’s premises at the beginning of 2026. The decision to move to their own office arose from the need to support rapid growth. CEO Miikka Laine previously worked from home offices, but as the operations expanded, the need for a professional environment arose.
“The last three years were largely spent in a home office, but moving to Crazy Town’s premises brought a whole new clarity to work. It helps to effectively separate work and leisure, which is critical for sustainability in growth entrepreneurship,” Miikka reflects.
Flexibility was particularly important in the selection criteria. As the company and operations grow, and potentially new employees are hired, space needs change rapidly. Crazy Town’s office allowed for a quick start without heavy, multi-year lease agreements or large furniture investments. The spaces are easy to scale and expand as Dellia’s team grows.
Community is the secret ingredient for growth
Dellia strongly believes that just having a workspace is not enough – a community is needed. Many international companies may find remote work lonely, but at Crazy Town, there is always a sparring partner next door.
The Dellia team praises CT’s relaxed, encouraging, and warm atmosphere. Community here does not just mean casual greetings by the coffee maker, but genuine encounters and networking at various community events. Help is always available when needed. The community often includes other experts who are grappling with the same questions. Here, you are not a prisoner of cubicles, but part of an ecosystem that supports your company’s success.
Towards the Future: New Flavors and Market Expansions
Dellia’s journey is just beginning. Miikka Laine, responsible for business in Finland and the Baltics, and Aino Hintsala-Tyynelä, who takes care of procurement and logistics, ensure that the beloved dried fruits of Finns reach the next level. While Dellia brings new flavors to the market, Crazy Town provides a platform where this growth can be realized sustainably and flexibly.
The Crazy Town team is excited to witness Dellia’s growth story up close. If you want to see how a global brand is built with passion and professionalism, follow Miikka Laine on LinkedIn!
