At Crazy Town, we love seeing our spaces being used for meaningful events that bring people and businesses together to create something magical. One such highlight was when Sauna from Finland, one of our member companies, chose Crazy Town Jyväskylä as the venue for the World Sauna Forum. This incredible event brings together sauna and wellness industry professionals, brands, and enthusiasts from around the world to share their passion and knowledge – while celebrating the wonderful sauna culture we so love and cherish in Finland. We spoke with Titta Pervis, the Marketing Manager of Sauna from Finland, to learn more about what goes into organizing such a unique, multi-location event as World Sauna Forum.
”The goal of the World Sauna Forum is to promote the authentic Finnish sauna experience, facilitate international networking, and support business growth within the sauna and wellness industries”, Titta explains. ”This year, the forum attracted participants from over 30 different countries, creating a rich mix of perspectives and highlighting the increasing worldwide interest in Finnish sauna culture.”
Why Jyväskylä and Why Crazy Town?
”Jyväskylä is known as the Sauna Region of the world, making it a natural choice. It’s also the hometown of Sauna from Finland, and the city offers the perfect combination of urban services and strong connections to nature, something that’s at the heart of the Finnish sauna experience.”
The event, which took place over multiple days, made the most of Jyväskylä’s stunning nature and scenery, unique sauna locations, and the central location of Crazy Town Jyväskylä offices. Sauna from Finland selected to utilize the flexible event spaces and business-focused atmosphere of Crazy Town Jyväskylä. According to Titta, ”Crazy Town’s facilities allowed them to host everything from networking sessions to workshops with ease, while the supportive team ensured smooth operations throughout. ”
Creating the Right Atmosphere
Organizing an international event of this scale is never simple, but Titta described the process at Crazy Town as very positive. ”From smooth communication to on-time preparations and flexible setups, the collaboration made it possible to create exactly the right atmosphere for the forum.”
She also emphasized the importance of planning the flow of people and program content carefully – and encouraged future event organizers to tap into Crazy Town’s team for fresh ideas and insights. ”In the role of venue provider, it’s always a pleasure when event organizers are true professionals who have thought through and prepared every detail in advance. It was such a joy to collaborate with the Sauna From Finland team in organizing this event and to trust that everything would run smoothly!” adds Sandra Suomäki, the Community Manager of Crazy Town Jyväskylä.
”Crazy Town Jyväskylä offers incredibly versatile spaces for all kinds of events. The World Sauna Forum was hosted across several different event rooms on two floors, along with a variety of more relaxed discussion areas in our common spaces. Different kinds of networking events are easy to organize with us, as the spaces can be adapted to suit your needs.”

Impact and Future Plans
The results of the event speak for themselves: participation doubled compared to last year, and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees and partners strengthened Sauna from Finland’s global brand. The forum also opened doors to new international contacts, media visibility, and long-term collaborations.
And the story doesn’t end here – the World Sauna Forum will continue as an annual event. While the exact future locations are still being explored, one thing is certain: the event will keep growing while staying true to its roots in authentic sauna culture.
The Value of Community
”One of the unique aspects of hosting the forum at Crazy Town Jyväskylä was the added value of community. The presence and curiosity of other Crazy Town members created a vibrant atmosphere and sparked new connections beyond the official program.”
”The energy, flexibility, and support we received from the Crazy Town team made a real difference. It was a true collaboration, and we felt very supported throughout the process,” Titta sums it up.
