Recently, I sat down with Jade Ventoniemi, an American social media influencer, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for her now-hometown Lahti, to discuss her journey from corporate marketing to indoor cycling — and how Crazy Town has become her go-to space for focus and inspiration.
Discovering Finland and Embracing Entrepreneurship
Jade’s adventure to the Nordics began when she met her Finnish husband while playing basketball at West Florida University. After moving to Lahti about four years ago, she quickly fell in love with the culture, the strong work-life balance, and the city’s tight-knit community.
At first, Jade built herself a successful career in corporate marketing, but over time, she felt something was missing. “I love positive affirmation and thrive on ambition, but in the corporate world, I didn’t get that same sense of fulfillment,” she explains. That realization led her to leap into entrepreneurship.

And just as the experience with entrepreneurship often is, the transition wasn’t without challenges for Jade either. Introducing rhythm-based indoor cycling — a popular fitness trend in the U.S. but still emerging in Finland — required extensive research and outreach. But her own belief and passion for the project kept her going: “I didn’t want to live with the regret of never trying this. Fitness transformed my life, and I want to give others that same joy and confidence.” And soon, everyone in Lahti will be able to join Jade and her team’s indoor cycling classes, as she recently revealed that Bright Cycle Studio will open its doors in Lahti next Autumn.
Why Crazy Town? Focus, Community, and Fresh Energy
Seeking a workspace that offered both focus and community, Jade recently joined Crazy Town Lahti. For her, it’s the perfect environment to simply get things done. “It’s fresh, social, and functional. When I arrive, it’s laptop is open, coffee in hand, let’s work. I get three hours of deep focus here that might take all day at home,” she says.
Though still new to the space, she appreciates the flexibility to either connect with like-minded people or work privately. The inspiring atmosphere has quickly made Crazy Town a key part of her entrepreneurial routine.
Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
For those starting their own business, Jade emphasizes one crucial factor: marketing. “Entrepreneurs often overlook how powerful and essential marketing really is,” she notes. Beyond that, her advice is to truly believe in your vision: “You have to trust that what you’re creating is needed — and that you’re the person to bring it to life.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
Crazy Town is more than a workspace – it’s a community where businesses and people thrive and grow. Join the community now!
